As the coronavirus pandemic continues to spread throughout our country, companies are trying to keep their businesses afloat while continuing to “social distance.” Trying to keep in contact with employees and clients during this time may feel like a challenge if you do not utilize the right tools.
One alternative is using a video conference platform such as Zoom. Zoom is a free video communication tool that helps your business easily communicate with employees and clients with out being physically present. Participants can join from a desktop or mobile device using an invite link or meeting ID number.
So how do you host your own meeting?
Go to zoom.us/signup and enter your work email address. You will then receive an email to activate your Zoom account. Sign up for an account and you will receive your own meeting URL that you can send out to your colleagues to join. Zoom allows you to add up to 100 people and you can always record the meeting just in case someone can’t make it.
If you have any questions on hosting a Zoom meeting or just want to make sure you are using the proper tools for your company during this trying time, feel free to give us a call at (904) 443-6046 and we will be happy to help!
